Let's Kick-Off September in Positivity and Kindness!
There is a misconception that we have to push ourselves harder so that we can get more out of life. Sometimes, people view kindness as a weakness when it’s actually the opposite. In reality, being kind is a strength. It’s much more difficult and courageous to be kind than it is to hate.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of negativity in the world today and social media has made negativity and hate even louder. How many people have you muted, blocked, or unfriended because you just can’t take another triggering post?
Some days it seems like kindness and positivity are lost in the noise. Even though there’s so much negativity on social media, you can do your best not to contribute to it! Start by focusing on the power of kindness. It gives meaning and adds value to our lives. Kindness releases ‘feel-good’ hormones and helps us see the good in the world.
By being kind, we also have the opportunity to impact someone else’s day. Something as simple as smiling at others, or saying hello can help turn a bad day into a bright day. Kindness is contagious!

Everybody could use a little more good in life. Sometimes, we just need a little light from others to see it which is why we’re kicking off the month of September on a positive note with our 7 Days of Kindness Challenge. Starting on September 1st, we’ll be sharing a positive and inspirational reflection on our Facebook page.
